Here at The Half Between we teach the 1 Giant Mind Being Meditation technique. It is a technique that stems from an ancient body of knowledge called the Veda and is taught in an accessible and modern way. The technique is a transcending and letting go practice. Once you learn, it’s easy to practice on your own without the need for apps or guidance. It can be practiced anytime, anywhere.

There is no focus, control, or trying to stop your thoughts — it is about effortlessly letting go.

There are many types of meditation, and this one is a simple, effortless and ancient technique that stems from a 5000 year-old body of knowledge called the Veda. It's a transcending practice, and I teach what's called Being Meditation, an offshoot from Vedic or Transcendental Meditation.

It's a daily practice that anyone can learn. 20 minutes, twice daily, it allows your mind to rest whilst dissolving stress and fatigue within the body to help you become more calm, clear and creative.

What is meditation?

What are the benefits?

Most people feel the subtle benefits almost immediately, but the best thing is that they will grow over time. Some of the most common reports are;

  • Feeling clear and calm

  • An expanded awareness

  • Deep rest and recovery from fatigue and stress

  • Moving out of fight-or-flight and into repair mode

  • Increased energy and vitality

  • Increased clarity, focus and productivity

  • More adaptable

  • The ability to let go and surrender

  • Increased capacity to meet challenges

  • Allows you to live with a deeper connection to your truest self

  • Enhanced creativity

What is the difference between the app i'm using or other types of meditation?

What makes it different (and easier to practice!) is the use of a mantra (sound) that pulls the mind beyond conscious thought into the space of the unconscious. It's so helpful for the overwhelmed mind and body. If you are that person who says 'I can't sit still' or 'I've tried meditation and I just can't do it' this is a great technique for you.

When we use focusing and concentration techniques (like guided meditations or following the breath) we are keeping the mind up on the surface layer of the mind. There's no force or concentration in this technique, it's effortless and automatic.

When we tap into the unconscious more expanded state - we allow our body to repair itself and stressors to release from the body in a sustainable way. And then we come up from our meditation and feel clearer, have more energy and we experience more often the flow state.
